next i removed the localpackage.lst, package.lst and patch.trc files from the main DFO folder when i ran the launcher it scanned my files then redownloaded the second file i deleted, followed by the first (that it was previously stuck on) and then a bunch more, it did get stuck again, but restarting the launcher seemed to get it going.
